Legendary English stunt driver Terry Grant has accepted an invitation to be a part of next month’s Race Of Champions at Sydney’s Accor Stadium, March 7-8 and is already looking at what Guinness World Record he might be able to break at the event.

Grant has performed at some of the most prestigious events on the global motorsport calendar including Race Of Champions in Paris, Barbados, London and Sweden to F1 expos in Russia.

Now a holder of 23 World Records, Grant is widely regarded as one of the greatest performers in the business and says he is busy looking at what current world mark he might be able to better in Sydney.

At the Race Of Champions in Sweden in 2022 Grant set another Guinness World Record when he performed the most ‘donuts’ in an electric-powered car when he managed to do 69 donuts on ice in a Porsche Taycan.

When Grant isn't entertaining crowds by flipping cars onto two wheels or breaking world stunt records he is teaching extreme driving at his own stunt school.

From the age of just six, Grant has been ‘living on the edge’ - ripping up the family farm on or in anything with two or four wheels.

What Terry Grant said:

“For me it is all about the show and the Race Of Champions really is one of the greatest motorsport shows on earth,” said Grant.

“I have had a long and successful relationship with Fredrik (Johnsson) and his team and have been performing at every single ROC event since my first in Stade de France in Paris in 2004. I am very excited to be invited to Australia for the first ROC in the Southern Hemisphere. I am trying to convince one of my motorcycle stunt riding friends to join me for ROC Sydney to make the show even more spectacular”

“I am also looking at what world record we can break at ROC Sydney and how we can get some of the race drivers and fans to be part of the world record attempt. From my last performance in Sydney with Top gear Live, I know the Australian fans are so passionate about their racing

and up for almost anything down there...”

What Fredrik Johnsson, Race Of Champions President and Co-Founder, said:

“Terry Grant really is one of the biggest names in entertainment when you are talking about stunt driving,” said Johnsson.

”Since Terry first joined us for ROC in Stade de France in Paris in 20024, everyone fell in love with his amazing performances and we have brought him back ever since. What he can do with a car is just amazing and he is always pushing the envelope.”

“While we have some amazing names on our entry list for the ROC Nations Cup and the individual Race Of Champions events in Sydney, Terry usually gets some of the biggest crowd reactions.”

“The head-to-head hardcore racing will be incredible, and we like to think of Terry as a “bonus” entertainment gift for the fans. If he finds another World Record to break at ROC that would be the icing on the cake.”
